Anja Stakenburg

Anja is an active resident and a connector of people in her neighborhood, and also manages neighborhood community relations. Thirty-five years ago Anja joined the tenants association of the set of apartment blocks where she lives. The association has grown strong and over the past 8 years, together with other residents, they have made use of ABCD approaches to strengthen their community. Among other things, they have set up a playground and community room used regularly by residents. She has also started a group which supports people who are dealing with illness. Their motto is: With each other, for each other!
